Full-Time Operations - Special Projects Manager

Skylight is a technology startup focused on creating family-oriented technology. They have $100M+ in annual revenue, completely bootstrapped.

The Special Projects role leads high-impact Operations initiatives to support rapid growth across global retail and D2C channels.

Responsibilities:

• Build data architecture and implement automated systems (transform reactive to proactive operations)
• Lead mission-critical projects (develop roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, run focused stand-ups)
• Elevate operational performance (identify automation/efficiency gains, solve challenges, turn data into insights)
• Create documentation and validate processes for sustainable implementation

Requirements:

• 4+ years in Operations/Supply Chain/eCommerce fulfillment in growth environments
• Proven ability to manage complex projects
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), operational technology (e.g., Alloy, SPS Commerce)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and a solutions-focused approach

Bonus Points:

• Experience with e-commerce fulfillment/refurbishment
• Knowledge of emerging operations technologies
• Change management experience
