Operations Support Analyst - Private Banking
This is a contract opportunity.
This is a hybrid opportunity in New York City.
About this Position
The Private Banking Operations Support Analyst will be responsible for providing operational support to various securities-based lending products, including Liquidity Access Line (LAL) and Express Credit Line.
In this role, you will establish and maintain effective relationships across multiple internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of services related to Bank and Broker/Dealer Lending Products, Deposit Products, Banking Services, and Vendor Management.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and exhibit strong leadership potential, attention to detail, and a strong desire to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
You will be working with Financial Advisors, Private Bankers, Branches, and other internal stakeholders to support and deliver world-class service.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the LAL Telephone Hotline by responding to inquiries such as loan status and outstanding issues. Document the nature of calls.
- Meet Phone Performance Metrics, including Average Phone Handle Times, Quality/Accuracy, Professionalism, and Adherence to Phone Script.
- Review loan application and servicing requests to ensure appropriate information is provided for review within Service Level Agreements.
- Communicate any missing information needed to progress loans in the pipeline.
- Reconcile and process monetary transactions, including the review of daily reports.
- Cross-train and learn new functions as needed to provide coverage across different operational areas.
- Train new team members once proficient in processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish shared goals and contribute to departmental success.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Skills/Requirements
- 1-3 years of work experience in an operational or client-facing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly across various audiences.
- Ability to work operational hours starting at 8:00 AM local time, with occasional weekend and overtime work when necessary.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Adaptability and flexibility to balance multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
- Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement of processes and controls.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
