In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing sophisticated options trading strategies using cutting-edge quantitative techniques and advanced programming skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative options trading strategies using Python and quantitative analysis techniques
- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis and financial modeling to evaluate and refine trading strategies
- Implement machine learning algorithms to enhance strategy performance and adaptability
- Create efficient and scalable code for high-frequency trading systems
- Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to translate trading ideas into executable algorithms
- Perform backtesting and optimization of trading strategies using historical market data
- Develop and maintain data visualization tools to present complex financial information clearly
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing trading strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in options trading, quantitative finance, and relevant technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing trading strategies, preferably in options trading
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in financial applications
- In-depth knowledge of options trading, financial markets, and derivatives
- Expertise in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques
- Experience with financial modeling and risk management
- Proficiency in data visualization and the ability to present complex information clearly
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience with C++ programming and SQL (preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure (preferred)
- CFA or FRM certification (optional)
