Job Description
Our client is hiring a Payments Program Manager to guide expansion efforts across the US market. This role centers on defining and implementing our US FinTech and Payments growth agenda, steering commercial initiatives, and establishing critical partnerships with major players. The work will directly enhance incremental revenue and contribute to a P&L-positive outcome.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen US FinTech Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive plan for the US market, analyzing market opportunity, cost efficiency, revenue potential, and GTM initiatives.
- Lead Cost Optimization: Drive efforts for incremental revenue and cost improvements (e.g., commercial agreements, acceptance strategies, fraud mitigation, and chargeback reduction).
- Realize Value Beyond Payments: Discover and structure opportunities to deliver impact across other departments (marketing, sponsorships, distribution, data insights).
- Foster Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with cross-functional groups (Product, Legal, Operations, Treasury, Fraud, FP&A) for well-coordinated execution.
- Communicate Effectively with Executives: Prepare executive summaries, business cases, and performance insights. Translate complex payment topics into engaging narratives.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Strategy, Commercial Partnerships, and Business Development, ideally in FinTech.
- 4+ years in Payments, understanding of the payment lifecycle.
- MBA or equivalent, consulting or strategic role experience preferred.
- Proven ability to build and execute strategies for specific markets.
- Knowledge of extracting value beyond payments through collaboration.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and teamwork.
- Deep US FinTech environment knowledge.
- Analytical mindset to assess opportunities and develop business cases.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
