Additional Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll, maintain internal controls, ensuring proper and established procedures, rules and regulations are followed
- Review and prepare manual adjustments to payroll for new hires and terminations
- Research and set up tax jurisdictions for payroll tax filing in new states (when applicable)
- Identify areas for improvement (where applicable)
- Provide prompt, friendly and efficient customer service to employees who have questions. Field audit requests
- Assist with 401k and workers’ compensation audits, and ensure controls are followed
Requirements
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (strongly preferred)
- Experience managing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees across multiple states. Experience with international payroll (India - Preferred)
- Knowledge of Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), withholdings, taxes, and Leave of absence (manual process)
- Superior attention to detail and thorough self-review is a must
- Strong communication skills, and a customer service orientation will be key in this role
