Responsibilities
• Overseeing the processing of three biweekly and one monthly payroll
• Supervising a team of seven, including two recent hires
• Actively participating in payroll functions alongside your team
• Ensuring accurate tax filings to ADP and verifying General Ledger (GL) entries
• Utilizing your detail-oriented skills to manage full cycle payroll for over 500 employees
• Maintaining and enhancing your knowledge of accounting software systems
• Ensuring proper payroll tax procedures are followed and accurate entries are made.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a payroll management role within the healthcare, hospitals or social assistance sectors.
• Proficiency in using accounting software systems.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in overseeing all aspects of accounting functions.
• Demonstrable experience in managing full cycle payroll.
• Must hold a Certified Payroll Detail Oriented (CPP) certification.
• Proven experience in managing payroll for over 500 employees.
• Solid understanding and practical experience in dealing with payroll taxes.
