Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now with Workday, maintain internal controls, ensuring proper and established procedures, rules and regulations are followed
- Process payroll for newly acquired Indian subsidiary (about 20 people)
- Process payroll deductions for an employee stock purchase plan program
- Review and prepare manual adjustments to payroll for new hires and terminations
- Research and set up tax jurisdictions for payroll tax filing in new states (when applicable)
- Identify areas for improvement (where applicable)
- Provide prompt, friendly and efficient customer service to employees who have questions. Field audit requests
- Assist with 401k and workers’ compensation audits, and ensure controls are followed
Requirements
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferably with Workday integration)
- Experience managing multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
- Experience with international payroll, specifically in India
- Experience setting-up/managing Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
- Familiarity with withholdings, taxes, and Leave of absence (manual process)
- Superior attention to detail and thorough self-review
- Strong communication skills, and a customer service orientation will be key in this role
