We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team on a maternity contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of salaries in accordance with government legislation and organisational timetables.
Reporting to the Assistant Group Financial Controller, the Payroll Manager will have direct report responsibility for the payroll coordinator and will hold accountability for all strategic duties associated with the busy payroll process.
As Payroll Manager, you will own the end-to-end processing of 9 monthly UK payrolls. You will be responsible for month-end reporting, year-end procedures, and HMRC submissions.
You will be the escalation point for any payroll disputes and will own the process for bonus and pay review adjustments.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
- CIPP Qualification (preferred) or relevant experience
- Experience of working with Sage 50 payroll
- In-depth knowledge & experience of payroll calculation and processing
