Contractor Payroll Manager - Maternity Contract

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team on a maternity contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries.
• Adhering to government legislation and organisational timetables.
• Reporting to the Assistant Group Financial Controller.
• Direct report responsibility for the payroll coordinator.
• Accountability for all strategic duties associated with the payroll process.
• Own the end-to-end processing of 9 monthly UK payrolls.
• Responsible for month-end reporting, year-end procedures, and HMRC submissions.
• Escalation point for payroll disputes.
• Own the bonus and pay review adjustments process.

Requirements:

• CIPP Qualification (preferred) or relevant experience.
• Experience with Sage 50 payroll.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing.
