We are looking to bring on board a Payroll Specialist in the banking industry, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid setting, with a combination of in-office and remote work. This role is a contract position that offers a short-term engagement, focusing on reconciliation cleanup and reports.
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct payroll reconciliations to ensure accurate and efficient reporting
• Utilize accounting software systems and ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll processes
• Leverage your experience with ADP Workforce Now to handle payroll related tasks
• Handle accounting and benefit functions, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Generate and maintain detailed reports related to payroll and reconciliations
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to payroll
• Manage the cleanup of reconciliation reports, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
• Monitor and update customer accounts as necessary, using relevant software and tools
• Work closely with the HRMS Manager and CHRO to achieve team goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with all banking industry regulations and standards in relation to payroll management.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now will be an added advantage
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is required
• Must have experience in Reconciliations
• Professional experience in the banking industry is preferred
• Completion of a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
• Must have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• A keen attention to detail and accuracy in work is required
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary
• Prior payroll experience in a similar role is preferred.
