About the Opportunity
Our Place-based team is looking for an Advisor to support the Kimberley region. The role ensures smooth place-based initiatives by coordinating financial, contractual, and reporting systems, strengthening local partnerships and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Supporting partnership process (establishment, onboarding, proposals, contracting, reporting, measurement & learning aligned with Place strategy)
- Managing partnership agreements (timely invoice/payment follow-up)
- Providing finance support (supplier details, invoice/payment follow-up, accurate account management)
- Monitoring budgets, financial reporting, and funding allocations
- Coordinating workshops, planning meetings, and events between Place partners
- Managing administration governance of Place projects (ensuring key documentation review and filing)
- Working with Place Partner Communities to deliver localized initiatives, events, communications, and engagement activities
- Coordinating funding application processes (liaising with local working groups, managing timeline, assessing grants, and allocating funds)
About You
This role is for First Nations candidates with knowledge of working with First Nations people and communities.
Qualifications
- Tertiary study/experience in community development, communications, social impact, or similar is essential.
- Previous experience in grant and partnership management, and associated governance/administration
- Experience in government or not-for-profit sector
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset, supporting strategy with data and insights
