We are seeking a Platform Engineer with a focus on security and reliability to build and operate infrastructure for our digital health products. You'll design and maintain scalable, secure systems and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement DevSecOps best practices. Your responsibilities also include ensuring platform compliance with DIGA and other regulations, leading monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management efforts.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborating with engineers on embedding security and reliability best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conducting regular system reliability assessments, security audits, and penetration testing.
- Managing monitoring systems, incident response, and vulnerability management processes.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and certifications under DIGA.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure, security, and DevOps principles.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, ideally in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulatory requirements (DIGA experience preferred, ISO 27001, BSI TR-03161).
- Expertise in system reliability engineering, security audits, and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., Hetzner Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Python (Django), and familiarity with NodeJS/TypeScript and React/React Native is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and a proactive, strategic mindset.
