Full-Time Platform Site Reliability Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for our multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Implement and manage cloud-native systems (AWS) using automation.
• Operate and enhance Kubernetes clusters and deployment pipelines.
• Establish and enforce SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
• Develop infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
• Program solutions for Platform Tools for automation, monitoring, and provisioning.
• Understand the network stack (TCP/IP, VPN, HTTP, SSL, routing, etc.) and cloud topologies (VPC, Virtual Subnets, NACLS, NSG, ILB, ELB, etc.).
• Monitor system health using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Improve incident response practices.
• Troubleshoot and fix incidents.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Work with software engineers to embed reliability and observability.
• Develop automated runbooks and health checks.
• Support automated testing and rollback strategies.
• Contribute to security best practices and cost optimization.

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering
• 5+ years in an SRE/platform engineering role supporting SaaS platforms.
• Experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized microservices.
• Programming or scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash...).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability stacks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of Linux systems and networking.
• Experience supporting multi-tenant microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with service mesh, e.g., Istio.
• Knowledge of zero-downtime deployment strategies.
• Exposure to compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA.
• FedRAMP experience is a plus.
• Experience with chaos engineering.
