Full-Time Portfolio Director UK Public Sector

Role Purpose: The Portfolio Director – UK Public Sector is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery and growth of critical engagements across a diverse range of public sector clients. This includes organizations in Public Protection, Transport, Justice, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio Leadership and Delivery: Oversee successful project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Act as primary escalation point for delivery challenges while empowering teams.
2. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, act as strategic advisor, and lead client communication and negotiations.
3. Strategic Growth and Development: Collaborate with sales and business development to identify and secure new opportunities. Lead pre-sales activities (bid responses, proposition development, client presentations).
4. Team Leadership and Development: Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and developing teams. Oversee resource planning.
5. Operational and Financial Excellence: Ensure accurate revenue forecasting and monitor project/portfolio performance. Champion cross-functional collaboration.
6. Thought Leadership and Advocacy: Represent the company as a thought leader, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Essential Experience: Extensive experience managing large-scale portfolios within the UK Public Sector, success in delivering transformative programs, strong commercial acumen.

Skills and Attributes: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, strategic thinking, understanding of regulatory frameworks, strong leadership presence.

Security Clearance: Eligibility for SC clearance is essential.
