Full-Time Preservation Coordinator, AFS Operations

About the Role: Responsible for ensuring the timely completion and coordination of all necessary activities to secure, maintain, and preserve REO properties acquired through reverse mortgage foreclosures. Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure properties are safe, secure, and ready for market.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the REO property preservation process for reverse mortgages.
• Coordinate and oversee timely completion of property inspections.
• Secure vacant properties to prevent unauthorized access and vandalism.
• Oversee property clean-out and debris removal.
• Manage lawn maintenance.
• Coordinate winterization services.
• Ensure completion of other life safety and preservation measures.
• Track and document all preservation activities.
• Collaborate with asset managers and other departments.
• Maintain accurate and complete records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in property preservation, REO management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of reverse mortgage foreclosure timelines and procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proactive and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in PPW and Resnet applications.
