As a Principal Data Scientist, you will innovate and improve machine learning models to make efficient and accurate decisions, enabling financial progress for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems and help customers.
• Collaborate with business leaders and technical experts to develop new data sources and improve modeling.
• Apply models with sound risk management.
• Mentor other data scientists, sharing best practices.
• Focus on operationalizing and evaluating models for real-world applications.
• Utilize strong software engineering fundamentals (e.g., test-driven development, code review).
• Utilize PyData stack (numpy, scikit-learn, pandas).
• Explore various machine learning solutions, including established and emerging tools.
• Develop in-house tools as needed.

Bonus Points for:

• Experience in consumer lending or fintech.
• Interest in training, interpreting, and deploying neural networks for time series classification.
