Full-Time Principal Infrastructure Engineer

Mission: The Engine Infrastructure and Security (InfraSec) group builds a cloud ecosystem for automatic & economical new service creation.

As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be a force multiplier:

• Build technical roadmap and architectural direction.
• Solve difficult problems and provide technical guidance.
• Define standardization, automation, and delivery of the next-generation cloud environments.

Experience: 12+ years hands-on experience designing scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure and systems, deep expertise in cloud environments (particularly AWS), and defining technical direction.

Technical Skillset:

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Pulumi
• Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes
• Observability: Logging, monitoring, metrics, alerting
• Configuration Management & Service Discovery: Data organization, partitioning, storage, fault tolerance
• CI/CD: Build, deploy, and artifact management
• Security & Compliance: Security systems, data governance, compliance frameworks

Mindset: Strategic thinking, defining technical vision, collaborative leadership, passion for scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure, and driving teams.

Compensation: $220,000 - $250,000 base salary, equity compensation possible.
