Role Overview
Architects guide customers through digital transformation, leading solutioning and scoping discussions. They provide thought leadership and expert guidance, ensuring customers achieve long-term value from the ServiceNow platform.
Unique Job Responsibilities:
- Act as an expert across contracts, providing architectural guidance and best practices.
- Build strong relationships with customer leaders, aligning solutions with business strategy.
- Collaborate with teams to bridge the gap between sales, solutioning, and execution.
- Contribute to leading practices and thought leadership related to the platform.
- Provide input to the product strategy team.
Platform Architect Specifics:
- Technical advisory role, helping customers establish a technical foundation and design solutions.
- Ensure customers leverage leading practices around instance strategy and technical health.
- Guide employees to deliver solutions on the technical architecture.
- Interface with customers across Executive, Platform Owner, and development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the customer during selling, structuring, and implementation of solutions.
- Be a technical expert to guide customers and internal team members.
- Provide knowledge across multiple workflows.
- Develop relationships with leaders to understand ServiceNow's role in their vision.
- Translate goals into a customer roadmap.
- Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint.
- Engage with Enterprise Architects to position ServiceNow as the standard.
- Manage technical governance and a delivery operating model.
- Ensure instance health by reducing technical debt and aligning to practices.
- Support sales by scoping and estimating engagements.
- Contribute expertise related to the platform.
- Maintain skills and certifications.
- Support the professional development of others through mentoring.
To be successful:
- Consulting experience in the Financial Services industry.
- Experience in management consulting leadership roles at a top-tier consulting company focused on technology.
- Experience working with functional business leaders to identify business objectives and develop outcome-focused roadmaps
- Experience guiding large Consulting/SI organizations.
- Large Program Experience
- Enterprise Architecture Experience
- Cloud Application Technology Experience
- ServiceNow Platform Experience desired
