Full-Time Principal Product Security Engineer | Design

The ServiceNow Security Organization (SSO) delivers world-class, innovative security solutions to reduce risk and protect the company and our customers. We enable customers to migrate sensitive data and workloads to the cloud. We seek an experienced Principal Product Security Engineer with a strong design background to ensure security is central to every new ServiceNow offering and design upgrade.

This role is pivotal in driving security adoption, enabling developers and non-technical users to build secure applications and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute security strategy and roadmap for new products.
2. Collaborate with engineering, design, and customer success teams.
3. Collaborate with security teams to utilize products like Sec-Ops, IRM, SPM.
4. Conduct market research and understand customer needs to inform product decisions.
5. Act as SME during roll-out and provide support.
6. Analyze competitive offerings to maintain profitability and innovation.
7. Help sales and support teams with FAQs and governance documentation.
8. Communicate with diverse stakeholders throughout product lifecycle.
9. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Participate in technical discussions and design trade-offs.
11. Assume leadership responsibilities as accountable owner.
12. Promote efforts across teams and influence stakeholders.
13. Build RACIs to identify decision-makers.
14. Communicate product vision, write user stories, and interact with stakeholders.
15. Translate complex problems into requirements and solutions.
16. Utilize Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
17. Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
18. Understand software development, testing, and release processes.
19. Manage multiple, complex projects with tight deadlines and cross-team dependencies.
20. Manage resources, SLAs, risks, schedules, and budgets.
21. Create and manage project roadmaps.
22. Influence and lead diverse teams towards common goals.
23. Utilize tools like SQL, Tableau, or Power BI for data analysis.
24. Inspire and lead teams without direct authority.
25. Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and customer needs.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE: 5+ years Security experience
• MUST HAVE: 15+ years program management experience
• MUST HAVE: 10+ years Business process management
• MUST HAVE: Strong prioritization skills
• MUST HAVE: Experience defining and capturing product requirements
• MUST HAVE: Certifications (CSM, CSPO, or equivalent)
• PREFERRED: 5+ years ServiceNow experience
• PREFERRED: MBA or equivalent degree
