We are seeking an accomplished leader with extensive experience leading Global ERP transformation programs with budgets that can exceed $35 million.
Project Professional: Understands the need to communicate, influence, and drive change through organizations. Has experience working with program and project teams in a matrix structured, geographically dispersed organization.
Leader Qualifications: Extremely professional, organized, detail-oriented, and can efficiently multi-task.
Liaison Role: This leader will be the liaison between the business and technology for client project teams, Hitachi internal teams, Executive Sponsors, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for technical, cost control, and operational actions to meet contractual obligations.
- Ensure client satisfaction for designated contract deliverable commitments.
- Manage integrated solutions, ensuring quality and efficiency of deliverables within budget and timelines.
- Apply a program management framework for assigned programs, managing personnel, and ensuring contractual deliverables.
- Lead team members in a matrix-managed approach.
- Serve as focal point for program resource planning.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a global ERP implementation.
- Develop and manage the program plan, including scope and schedule of projects and workstreams.
- Strategically identify cross-project impacts to resources, risk, quality, and change management.
- Develop and maintain an integrated program schedule.
- Lead and set standards for Project Managers and/or Workstream Leads.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Engage with C-level executives and stakeholders.
- Develop program communications, set direction, goals, and priorities.
- Provide leadership and communication to customers and internal Hitachi stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Provide first-line escalation point and coach/resolve conflicts.
- Implement a quality management plan.
- Drive vendor and partner management.
- Champion program governance, compliance, and reporting standards.
- Facilitate risk assessment/mitigation sessions.
- Leverage PMI Program and project management standards.
- Manage and execute a program budget.
- Lead Program Executive Steering Committee meetings.
- Lead teams in ambiguity.
Minimum Experience: 20+ years of professional services program management experience leading ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Certifications: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Skills Required:
- Multi-platform project management.
- Effective communication with senior/executive management and customers/vendors.
- Strong business knowledge and people management skills.
- Experience with PMI program and project management standards.
- Agile, Scrum, SAFe, CMM, CPM, Waterfall experience (desirable)
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, Business Management, or related field.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Compensation: $190,000 - $255,000 base salary.
