Full-Time Principal Project Planner

The Principal Project Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, analysing and optimising the project schedules using Primavera P6 software Linking this schedule to the resourcing and cost WBS models. 

Some Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain the Waihi North Project (WNP) Schedules, including the project master schedule, ensuring data integrity
• Provide direct support to the WNP Project Director
• Work closely with the Project Managers, Project Director, Study Manager and stakeholders to understand project objectives and constraints
• Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders
• Provide training and guidance to project team members on using Primavera P6 for schedule management
• 10+ years experience in Project Planning with large infrastructure projects (mining preferred)
• Experience in using Pronto (preferred)
• Proficient user of Primavera P6 software with extensive expertise in project scheduling and management
• Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred
• Tertiary education qualification (preferred)
