Full-Time Principal Software Engineer - Data Solutions & Measurement

• Design, implementation, scaling, and maintenance of the code that powers our production systems.
• Work autonomously, providing technical direction and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across multiple projects.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Data Science, to drive strategic initiatives.
• Play a pivotal role in world-class research, shaping the next generation of Cint products and mentoring less experienced engineers.

• 10+ years of hands-on professional backend software development experience, with a significant portion in a leadership or principal role.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient programming skills in Python or Java.
• Deep familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, advanced testing frameworks, and deployment strategies.
• Extensive experience with complex API integration, design, and best practices, including defining API standards.
• Expertise in dealing with system complexity, distributed systems, and large-scale architectural challenges.
• Exceptional sense of ownership, accountability, and technical leadership.
• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong ability to influence architecture and technical decisions across multiple teams.
• Enjoys working as part of a team, actively mentoring and guiding other engineers, and providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
• Comfortable with making critical decisions based on comprehensive data analysis and industry best practices.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Extensive background in data analytics tools such as Spark, Hive, Databricks, or similar, with experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines.
• Deep familiarity with observability strategies, including advanced monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and advanced SQL, including database design and performance tuning.
