Experian Mortgage's Product team is seeking an experienced Product Manager. This remote position reports to the Senior Director of Product Management. You will manage several Experian Mortgage prospecting solutions, including solutions using property data and valuations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering product requirements (user stories)
- Competitive market analysis
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and technology teams
- Guiding projects through the product development lifecycle
Data and Analytics Experience Required:
- Manage the full lifecycle of Experian Mortgage products and features, from market requirements to product release.
- Contribute to product strategy and guide projects through compliance review and consumer validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize market requirements and define product roadmaps.
- Define and document product requirements for new products and enhancements, including functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements.
- Work with UX and Design teams to manage detailed UX and Design requirements.
- Champion qualitative and quantitative consumer research, utilizing insights for product concept and UX process.
- Lead 3rd-party integrations and act as the product point of contact for implementation.
- Collaborate with Experian departments to define, implement, and enhance product features.
- Ensure products deliver an optimal user experience and meet quality standards across all customer touchpoints.
- Work with Technology teams to plan implementation and deployments.
- Balance product requirements with time-to-market and project risks.
- Manage all stages of the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality releases.
- Be a Product Owner for assigned agile teams, managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Evaluate the competitive landscape and track industry trends.
- Resolve product issues raised by operations, clients, and partners.
- Establish operational standards and processes for product operation.
Required Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business/Marketing, or a technical field.
- 3+ years of relevant product management experience in software, data management, and financial services.
- Knowledge of mortgage solutions leveraging property data.
- 3+ years of experience with new product planning and delivery.
- Experience with product management tasks, including writing requirements, creating mocks/wireframes, market research, competitive analysis, product planning and reporting.
