Full-Time Product Placement Scientist

• Key technical contributor in testing, selecting, and advancing new vegetable seeds products.
• Specialize in high-tech greenhouse cultivation techniques.
• Work with commercial sales team and growers to manage variety trials.
• Collaborate with Market Segment, Commercial Sales, Breeding, and Crop R&D Teams.
• Develop knowledge of key crops and regional markets.
• Evaluate crop product performance using trial data and industry feedback.
• Deliver recommendations for product placement of new varieties.
• Adopt high-throughput phenotyping technologies and data-driven decision making.

• Develop expertise in high-tech greenhouse crop management strategies.
• Manage off-site trialing and deliver quality data.
• Find, place, sow, transplant, check, and evaluate early stage varieties in greenhouses.
• Work with growers and dealer partners to ensure communication.
• Establish the number of trials and varieties tested.
• Act as liaison between breeding teams and North American greenhouse operations.
• Develop and deliver yearly trial plans.
• Collect trial data with Syngenta employees or third-party collaborators.
• Organize and lead Product Advancement Tours.
• Track and deliver successful pipeline progress.
• Partner with stakeholder groups to optimize trial designs.
• Establish on-farm collaborations with key customers.
• Use Syngenta tools for data storage and analysis.
• Be an owner and advocate for Biosafety, Health, Safety and Environment compliance.
• Contribute to achieving the company sustainability targets.
