Overall Purpose: An e-mobility backend platform is critical for charging infrastructure. EV drivers need a reliable, error-free platform. Extensive, automated testing ensures a worry-free charging experience, making you crucial for quality.
Main Tasks:
- Drive test activities in an agile team.
- Apply best test methodologies to maintain product and process quality.
- Focus on test automation to integrate testing seamlessly.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for backend and frontend systems.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and requirement engineers to understand requirements.
- Evaluate reported bugs and approve fixes.
- Share testing knowledge and train colleagues.
- Work with international colleagues in a scaled agile environment (SAFe/Scrum).
Experiences and Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years' experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
- Experience automating functional, integration, and regression tests (microservices, web applications, web services).
- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of mobile app testing (iOS, Android).
- Experience with cross-platform mobile app frameworks (e.g., Capacitor).
- Experience with industry standard test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).
- Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), ideally with Agile Tester extension.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel to Germany (2-4 weeks/year).
- Essential Skills: High quality awareness, attention to detail, passion for error-free software, self-organization, team-oriented, eagerness to learn.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience in the EV charging business is beneficial.
