Program Coordinator - This is a contract opportunity. This is an on-site position in Boston, MA.
We are seeking an organized and proactive Program Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will be primarily responsible for phone reception, handling complex inquiries, and providing general office support.
You will collaborate with a team to research and resolve inquiries, while also supporting office tasks like scheduling, data entry, and creating documents.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail who is motivated to work independently while contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer office phones during business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM), addressing complex inquiries or taking detailed messages for follow-up.
- Assist with general office support tasks including data entry, records research, and calendaring/scheduling.
- Prepare summary documents, training materials, presentations, and media/graphics for team use.
- Process forms, respond to select email inquiries, and assist with updates for web pages and training materials.
- Serve as a point of contact for specific student populations or programs during the spring and early summer terms.
Skills/Requirements
- Strong work ethic, with excellent organizational, punctuality, and reliability skills.
- Great written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects, meet deadlines, and provide status updates to the team.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) preferred; proficiency with Google tools (mail, calendar, docs, sheets, slides) is sufficient.
- Experience with Campus Solutions student information system or student support programs in higher education is a plus.
