Program Manager, Cross-Regional Team
Search for Common Ground (Search) is seeking an experienced Program Manager for the cross-regional programs team.
Team and Project Focus: The cross-regional team supports implementation of projects globally, working with country teams and global departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grant Management: Oversight of cross-regional projects; monitoring progress, ensuring grant management policy adherence, monitoring burn rates, and addressing spending risks.
- Staff Management: Supervision of 3-5 direct reports; including quality oversight, feedback, coaching, and professional development.
- Program Design and Development: Contributing to the design of new cross-regional projects, focusing on operational aspects.
- Reporting and Learning: Contributing to organizational learning, impact reports, and global communications.
- Representation: Representing Search in global forums and strengthening relationships with partners, donors, and organizations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master's in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 9 years in grant and project management, ideally with experience in international conflict transformation and peacebuilding. 2+ years supervision experience. 2+ years experience with US and European donors.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, proficient in French.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
