The Program Manager III is the prime interface for our clients, partners, and project teams, and is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, financial monitoring, and staffing of a subset of teams.
Responsibilities and Contributions
- Is accountable for day-to-day activities of their program.
- Proactively breaks down strategies from Portfolio Directors, directing and managing the implementation across projects.
- Maintains awareness of challenges and manages/resolves them.
- Provides coaching and leadership to project leads.
- Grows the eminence of their program.
- Proactively resolves programmatic, contractual, and internal obstacles.
- Provides input into the portfolio strategy.
- Provides updates to Portfolio Directors.
- Develops an evaluation method to assess program strengths.
- Supports project teams in planning scope.
- Produces accurate and timely reporting.
- Approves timecards.
- Monitors program financials.
- Manages performance goals.
- Provides feedback to Passion Coaches.
- Tracks resource needs.
- Works with Passion Coaches for individual performance challenges.
- Manages behavioral challenges (with input).
- Interviews candidates, makes hiring recommendations, and provides feedback.
- Works closely with Portfolio Director and Business Development for follow-on contracts.
- Works with the Portfolio Director for people and tools.
- Provides inputs into Business Development tasks.
- Manages company communications.
- Works with Practice Directors to influence technical vision.
- Stands up project, if a project lead hasn’t yet been identified.
- Acts as backup.
- Provides input and feedback into operational systems building.
- Works with recruiters to meet staffing needs.
