Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Program Manager, Workforce Development to join our Long Term Recovery team! The Program Manager, Workforce Development will collaborate with their team and cross-functional teams.
This role requires managing competing priorities and keeping stakeholders informed.
Responsibilities include building relationships with community partners, training providers, and employers in the skilled trades.
The role also involves motivating coworkers, staff, participants, and external stakeholders to enhance Team Rubicon's service delivery within assigned geographies.
Daily challenges bring new opportunities for an organization recognized in disaster response.
This remote position reports to TR's Vice President, Workforce Development & Long Term Recovery and is based within the United States.
Duties:
- Execute Team Rubicon's workforce development strategy, connecting participants with skill-based training in the skilled trades.
- Develop and maintain relationships with training providers, community-based organizations, and government agencies.
- Supervise 1-3 workforce development staff.
- Ensure goals, deliverables, and funder requirements are met.
- Support the development of team performance goals and objectives.
- Coach direct reports on performance management.
- Develop and implement internal communication, meeting cadence, reporting, and business processes.
Education and Background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years relevant experience in workforce development, training, or a human services field.
- Proven record of personnel and project management
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience leading teams to achieve organizational goals
- Knowledge of skilled trades and/or disaster preparedness industries (preferred).
Special Requirements:
- Full-time, remote position based anywhere in the United States.
- Flexible and non-traditional work schedule.
- Local travel required.
- At least 25% non-local travel for organizational activities.

Pay Range: $93,775.97 - $159,845.40 per year
