AECOM is seeking a Program Risk Analyst working at the intersection of Civil Engineering, Program and Project Management, and Decision Support to support risk management for major infrastructure programs.
This position can be based in different locations across the US, although ideally from Ohio to the west coast as work will primarily be remote with occasional travel.
This is a sourcing requisition meant to build a pipeline of qualified candidates to hire from.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support program Risk Manager in Program Risk Management.
- Assist in execution and maintenance of program risk management service framework.
- Recognize and manage program risks, develop mitigation plans and communicate to stakeholders.
- Run workshops to gather requirements and gain consensus.
- Work with diverse team members (customers, managers, project managers, engineers).
- Assist in development of program-specific risk management plans.
- Organize Construction risk mitigation meetings.
- Assist in development of ad hoc program risk communiques.
- Review program documents, analyze data, and develop Program Risk Registers.
- Support schedule critical reviews and scrutinize cost estimates.
- Schedule and conduct risk interviews and support Program Risk Workshops.
- Develop quantitative integrated cost and schedule Program risk models and analyze results.
- Prepare program risk communications, Risk Assessment reports, and document risk mitigation strategies.
- Work with program team on risk allocation and transfer.
- Prepare Program Risk Assessment presentations.
- Support Program Managers.
- Work collaboratively with program risk management team.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business or related discipline, plus two (2) years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred requirements: Five or more years of related experience. Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Economics, Statistics or related field is a strong asset. Experience in quantitative/qualitative cost/schedule risk assessments. Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulation and risk assessment software.
