As a Project Delivery Manager at Telefónica Tech you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of technology projects to our biggest clients across UK&I, ensuring they are delivered in line with client needs and agreed quality outcomes.
You will ensure delivery follows outstanding project governance principles, supporting on-time, on-budget, and to-standard delivery.
You will operate daily with Telefónica Tech clients and stakeholders to ensure collaborative progress and successful delivery. Through strong client relationships, you will represent Telefónica Tech in our largest delivery environments.
The Project Delivery Manager will be comfortable with data and interpretation of information from multiple sources.
Responsibilities include:
- Creation of project plans
- Day-to-day management of Risk and Issues
- Tracking of Actions
- Monitoring of progress
- Daily problem solving
- Formal management of change
- Supporting implementation teams through delivery
- Ensuring all organizational procedures are adhered to
- Realizing benefits from technology implementation
- Understanding Critical Success Factors for Project Delivery (beyond time, quality, budget)
- Identifying CSFs in a dynamic IT environment
- Putting plans in place to achieve project success
- Leading the project as the centre of gravity for multiple internal and external teams (client, etc.)
- Consuming, digesting, using, and disseminating information to achieve progress
- Strong Business Analytical skills supporting project workstream management
- Constant reviews and deep dives on progress details to exploit opportunities adding value to clients
- Proactively managing customer expectations and addressing issues swiftly
- Following operational procedures and leading the process for Service Introduction on new technologies
- Leading from the front consistently
- Motivating and empowering teams to progress against timelines
- Understanding the privilege of managing people and process, putting teams first
- Contributing to problem-solving requirements enabling progress
- Building and maintaining strong, constructive, and collaborative partnerships with client POCs and stakeholders
