Full-Time Project finance - Associate Director

We work with exciting clients tackling the world's greatest challenges. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director passionate about financial modelling and driven by growth.

Main Responsibilities

1. Lead multiple teams across a portfolio of active assignments.
2. Lead in the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
3. Provide strategic guidance and insight into the structuring of transactions.
4. Review and interpret commercial documentation, ensuring accurate reflection in the financial model.
5. Lead in the development and enhancement of our financial modelling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
6. Lead in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
7. People
   • Lead a team of modeling professionals
   • Train, motivate, and lead junior team members.
   • Collaborate closely with team members.
   • Communicate model findings and insights to clients and internal teams.
   • Simplify complex model issues for non-technical stakeholders.
8. Growth
   • Lead in the business development and growth ambitions of a key sector of the business.
   • Lead in the development of client pitches.
   • Lead client calls and build client relationships.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial advisory or large corporate settings.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, with an accounting qualification beneficial.
• Sector-leading expertise in Project Finance.
• Strong analytical skills; proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
• Degree in a numerate discipline, postgraduate qualification beneficial.
• Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
