AECOM is seeking a Project Information Specialist to work closely with our client as a member of the knowledge management team to support various needs regarding large scale documentation management, document organization, migration and metadata tagging.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Work heavily within the client’s document management system (AODocs) as well as utilize Google and Microsoft office-based software such as sheets and docs to further manage client needs
- Support admin level tasks within the client’s DMS which can include: Small to large scale manipulation of metadata fields and tagging documentation
- Small to large scale Document migrations
- Small to large scale Content revisions
- Small to large scale Deprecation
- Assure the quality of metadata and document content consistency by performing routine reviews and discerning incoming requests.
- The candidate must be highly organized and able to work within a constantly evolving field
- The candidate must be able to quickly turn around work and meet deadlines as they arise
- The candidate must be able to communicate effectively as they will be working directly with the client regularly
- The candidate must be able to work independently and within a team atmosphere
BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Due to the nature of work, U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or any related technical field.
- Application development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Detail-oriented roles such as database management, accounting, bookkeeping, or programming
- Ability to effectively organize several projects at once within project management applications (Asana, Buganizer, Jira etc.)
- Experience with relational electronic document management systems (AODocs), taxonomy development and document tagging.
- Strong experience in Excel/Google Sheets query and formula creation, database management and other more technical tasks.
- Robust knowledge and practice in spreadsheet management.
- Experience with working in a team atmosphere under client leadership.
