Full-Time Project Lead Engineer

As part of the development projects for passenger cars / commercial vehicles with diesel engine units, the collaborator will independently work on project management for design-related tasks in accordance with the scopes of work and component scopes.
From concept development to product, and further development of the parts in series production.

3. Keeping track of the project milestones and planning
4. Proposal of Design/Technical Solutions
5. Development of Design Concepts
6. Development according to the milestones

Qualifications:

• VW design work environment
• Engine and Powertrain general knowledge
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Responsibility for all component technical items
• Creation of Forward Sourcing/RFQ/SOR document
• Coordination of technical content with the development departments, quality assurance, production and customer service and supplier
• Presentation of design results
• Consultation/Alignment with Customer regarding Design/Technical Solution
• Preparing the data transfer for engine builds
• Coordination of component validation at customer
• Finding solutions by NOK validation results
