POSITION SUMMARY The Project Manager will oversee the daily operations of a task force within AACOM’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) Initiatives department. This role is essential to advancing residency transitions, osteopathic graduate medical training, and strengthening the osteopathic education model. This position reports to the Vice President of GME Initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO Plan, coordinate, and evaluate task force programs, events, and workgroups. Facilitate communication with leadership, stakeholders, and external partners. Manage budgets, archives, and program-related materials. Organize and support meetings, including content creation and logistics. Conduct research, surveys, and basic data analysis. Develop reports, presentations, and content for internal and external audiences. Collaborate with marketing to share task force news through web content, newsletters, and webinars.
WHO WE NEED The ideal candidate for the Project Manager – UME-GME Task Force role will bring a combination of organizational expertise, communication skills, and a passion for driving meaningful projects. This individual thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is eager to take ownership of initiatives that shape the future of medical education. A bachelor’s degree, at least two years of experience in project management, proven research capabilities, and familiarity with data visualization tools—such as Tableau—will position the candidate for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time exempt position with health, dental, vacation and 403(b) benefits. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000 annually.
