Project Manager Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for leading technology and business initiatives within the mortgage industry. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams.
Key Functions
- Lead end-to-end project planning.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk logs, and communication plans.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and/or traditional project governance.
- Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations.
- Support change management and adoption activities.
- Coach and mentor clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of project management or consulting experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and project management tools.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. PMP or Agile certification preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with the mortgage industry.
- Experience delivering projects in consulting and/or government contracting environments.
- Understanding of mortgage technology ecosystems.
