About the Role
The Project Manager will own and drive project execution for our clients. This remote role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to implement RainFocus software. Responsibilities include planning, driving implementation, managing scope, goals, and deliverables, defining tasks, coordinating resources, and handling escalations to ensure project timelines and client satisfaction are met.
How You Will Contribute
- Planning: Align with clients on project milestones, build and maintain project plans, identify dependencies, risks, and priorities, coordinate work streams, participate in pre-sales planning, and identify and engage appropriate resources.
- Communications: Document project activities, communicate weekly status to clients and stakeholders, communicate with event steering teams, co-facilitate workshops to define requirements, solicit feedback, and coordinate post-event reviews.
- Change management: Support change management for first-year event clients, ensure necessary training for clients and partners, identify impacts on client roles and responsibilities, and escalate resource constraints.
- Project Controls: Manage expectations, scope, and priorities, capture project artifacts, monitor and manage financial performance, and manage change orders.
Qualifications
- 4+ years project management experience, including software implementation.
- Proficiency in project management tools for complex projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office suite and Smartsheet.
- Highly motivated, autonomous, and takes ownership.
- Strong technology acumen and event operations experience.
- Ability to work 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. PST.
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role.
- Detail-oriented and able to document systems/processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Event industry experience
- PMP certification

Location/Travel
This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States of America. Total travel up to 20% including weekends and post-event meetings.
