As a Project Manager, you will be the key liaison between our clients and our Creative/Production team. Manage projects including scheduling, estimating, obtaining job detail information, job tracking, and invoicing. Be proactive, quick thinking, a problem solver, and ultra-organized, ensuring account satisfaction and service excellence.
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Project manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of Creative Services projects.
- Assess marketing needs, determine goals, and coordinate projects.
- Resolve and escalate issues/barriers.
- Act as primary liaison between clients and production teams.
- Apply knowledge of catalog/retail, in-store signage, and print production workflows.
- Establish and promote excellent customer relations through effective and proactive communication to update clients and stakeholders on project status.
- Lead day-to-day management and optimization of projects, entering specifications using job management software, ensuring proper priority is given to each job to meet client expectations.
- Demonstrate understanding in each area of Creative Services (project management, design, print production, and prepress).
- Attend and set relevant client meetings, production and project management status calls, bringing in appropriate resources from Creative Services.
- Maintain contact with clients and production to set project milestones, create project estimates, track schedules, advise of job progress, scheduling concerns, and requests for additional information/materials.
- Perform invoicing, forecasting on a pre-set deadline, and monitor client budgets for accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain the master schedule for all project activities, conduct periodic status checks to assess progress against the schedule, and make changes to plans when requirements change.
- Track and report on quality metrics, strategize with the client, and deliver services to attract and retain customer loyalty.
- Train other employees as needed.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent working experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in project management or comparable experience with progressively expanding responsibilities.
- Background in the creative and/or print industry preferred.
- Excellent Mac computer skills; ability to learn new programs and project management software.
- Proactive, collaborative, driven, and seeking excellence in execution.
- Experience in utilizing continuous improvement tools to create and track metrics.
- Complete understanding of the "Big Picture" to problem-solve, analyze potential solutions, and make good business decisions.
- Ability to interpret and understand client expectations and guide the production team.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proven track record with strong and effective client relationships and solution delivery.
- Superior presentation and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to listen for understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams, internally and client-side.
- Ability to anticipate client needs to serve the client, increase volume, and profitability.
- Knowledge of administrative software (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access); basic working knowledge of design or development skills/software (Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).
- Ability to work independently and manage high volumes of information during high-stress situations.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving consensus and team building with strong problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $65,100 - $101,500 / year
