Full-Time Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and lead our cloud delivery and migration projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition of our systems and applications to the cloud environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Project Planning and Strategy: 

• Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the cloud migration, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Define project goals, scope, and deliverables in alignment with organizational objectives and technical requirements

Technical Expertise: 

• Possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Alibaba Cloud) and best practices for migration
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, applications, and systems to determine their suitability for migration and identify any necessary modifications or enhancements
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and eNicient cloud solutions

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, developers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the migration process
• Foster a collaborative and cohesive working environment, promoting communication, transparency, and knowledge sharing
• Provide guidance and support to team members, resolving issues and mitigating risks as they arise

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external vendors
• Communicate project status, updates, and milestones eNectively, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
• Manage expectations and address concerns proactively, seeking feedback and input to drive continuous improvement

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure that all aspects of the migration comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies
• Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to verify the integrity, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure and applications
• Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures to minimize disruption and ensure a seamless transition to the cloud environment

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and refinement
• Implement lessons learned and best practices to enhance future migration projects and organizational capabilities
• Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in cloud technology, incorporating relevant innovations into project plans and strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Alibaba Cloud ACP/ACE) preferred
• Proven experience managing complex technical projects, particularly cloud migrations, with a track record of successful delivery on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and services, along with hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Alibaba Cloud
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, as well as a passion for continuous learning and professional development
• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
