Full-Time Project Manager

Project Manager is responsible for managing small to medium-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with departments/stakeholders to define goals, requirements, scope, and timeline for project deliverables.
• Communicate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure clear understanding of project outcomes and timelines.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to launch.
• Manage daily project details including plan, schedule, resources, task assignments, scope, issues, and risks.
• Track progress and monitor development activities.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings.
• Brief project teams and leadership on status, problem resolution, feedback, and input on project planning and execution.
• Assist with capacity management.
• Plan and secure necessary resources; adapt resource planning to changing project needs.
• Adhere to company project methodology.
• Maintain documentation (plans, process documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs).
• Perform other duties/tasks consistent with position goals.

Work Experience:

• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Education content development experience, higher education environment experience preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution; Business or Project Management degree preferred.

Other:

• 0-10% travel required.
• Remote position with quarterly 3-day in-person meetings.
• Office hoteling available in Minneapolis, MN and Herndon, VA.
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Mobility within office, including movement between floors.
• Travel by plane, car, and metro may be required.
• Computer access required for information retrieval.
