(Japan) offers a range of services, including sales of domestic and imported machinery, packaging materials, validation, and comprehensive services. We operate in Tokyo (HQ), Osaka, and Saitama (R&D/manufacturing), with a team of around 200 colleagues.
The Position: As a Project Manager at Syntegon Technology's Japanese subsidiary, you'll be responsible for meeting customer needs related to product technology, quality, and delivery time, while achieving project profit goals.
Responsibilities:
- Review project costs and delivery time (with design and sales departments) during the pre-quotation phase.
- Confirm customer requirements (URS) and order contents, ensuring continuous follow-up and confirmation of the scope of provision.
- Create project schedules and coordinate resources between departments.
- Monitor and confirm project costs, progress, and risks, collaborating with the technical department.
- Act as an effective internal and external liaison with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Conduct internal and external meetings to address issues, communicate project progress, and ensure project quality and completion.
- Actively participate in project meetings.
- Maintain consistent involvement from machine manufacturing to delivery, including visits to customers and suppliers.
- Act as a point of contact for various negotiations with customers, from order placement to delivery.
- Report project progress to management.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree (technical college or university, or higher) with an engineering background.
- Project management experience at a manufacturing company (made-to-order production), with technical experience (mechanical design, electrical design, concept design, technical consulting, pharmaceutical manufacturing/equipment maintenance, etc.).
Skills:
- 2D/3D CAD skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills (meeting management, communication, conflict management)
- Scheduling, resource planning, and report writing skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel
- Strong English and Japanese language skills for business communication
Work Location: Syntegon Technology K.K., Tokyo Head Office, 5F Urban Center Shibuya East, 3-3-2 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
Working Hours: 8:45-17:30 (12:15-13:00 break)
