Summary: The Project Manager manages all aspects of medical communications projects from inception to completion, including content development, advisory boards, and speaker training.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and faculty members.
- Maintain timely and professional written and verbal communications.
- Ensure client expectations are met.
- Establish and maintain knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education.
- Develop new project budgets and contribute to new business development.
- Manage budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of projects.
- Schedule and conduct project meetings, establish and maintain schedules, and provide ongoing updates.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure within-budget, on-time performance.
- Own daily account work and oversee project activities.
- Recruit and manage faculty, generate audiences, develop content, manage logistics, and handle registration/participant communication.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of relevant project management experience in healthcare communications. Strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
