The Project Manager, Design & Construction will be responsible for ensuring the proper design execution of McDonald’s USA restaurants. They will provide constructive and timely guidance to the field and local consultants on exterior branding, interior décor design, and site planning.
This role requires 25% travel (approximately once a quarter) to meetings and/or job site visits throughout the assigned region (California, Oregon, Nevada, and Washington State).
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Real Estate and Construction teams on plan production.
- Complete and finalize the USRD Project Request Form (PRF).
- Gather plans (floor plan, building elevations, site plan) for RE’s Transaction Manager.
- Assist Transaction Managers and coordinators in obtaining approvals (possible monthly developer calls).
- Coordinate with A/E firms to provide Construction Documents to the Permit Expeditor and assist with permitting entity comments.
- Enter critical dates into Smartsheets for A/E plan ordering and vendor deadlines.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on USRD Standards and Processes.
- Guide and train A/E partners.
- Maintain compliance with all USRD Standards and Processes.
- Ensure Construction Documents adhere to McDonald’s USRD Project Manual and Master Specifications.
- Complete a final review of A/E Construction Documents.
- Maintain brand consistency and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
- Coordinate A/E plan details (utility location, sign locations, geotechnical recommendations).
