Job Details
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects. The position may be remote for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include:
- Project invoicing and cash flow management
- Managing and directing staff to complete projects
- Leading teams using scientific principles
- Developing technical solutions
- Interpreting data and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Analyzing financial statements and tracking budgets
- Overseeing work plan preparation
- Supervising junior staff
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with +6 years of experience
- U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar)
- 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation
- Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
- Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients
- Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in team management and scheduling
- Superior communication, writing, and reporting skills
- Experience preparing proposals and cost estimates
- Interest in business development
- Experience leading teams in Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, etc.
Occasional overnight travel required.
