AECOM is seeking a Project Manager in Omaha, NE, to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects. Remote work is possible.
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management
- Manages staff to complete projects.
- Leads teams using scientific principles.
- Develops technical solutions.
- Interprets data and ensures regulatory compliance.
- Analyzes financial statements and tracks budgets.
- Prepares work plans and organizes project studies.
- Supervises junior staff.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with + 6 years of relevant experience. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar)
- 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation project management
- Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
- Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients
- Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in team management and scheduling
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, and schedules
- Interest in business development
- Led teams in Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction
Occasional overnight travel required
