Full-Time Project Manager Fiber Engineering

Brightspeed is seeking a Project Manager, Fiber Engineering and Construction to join their Engineering & Construction Fiber Build team.

This role manages the complete lifecycle of engineering projects, encompassing network design, construction scheduling, implementation, and asset management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and monitoring engineering and construction build plans across various network types.
• Coordinating and scheduling work to ensure timely delivery for both internal and contracted vendors.
• Tracking milestones for complex projects/programs across multiple business lines.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Meeting network readiness dates within budget via vendor performance management.
• Utilizing Cost Per Premise Modeling during design and revision phases.
• Driving data analysis with partner groups (IT, Business, and Vendors).
• Providing technical support to OSP build and Operations teams.
• Removing network build roadblocks (permitting, contracts).
• Collaborating with leadership to design and implement future state processes.
• Analyzing and interpreting GIS and IQGeo data.
• Communicating training, job aids, and procedures to stakeholders.
• Creating and maintaining IT enhancement requirements.
• Performing User Acceptance Technical Testing and periodic Quality Inspections.
• Traveling periodically for meetings and relationship building.
