Full-Time Project Manager, Fiber Engineering & Construction

Brightspeed is seeking a Project Manager, Fiber Engineering and Construction to join their team.

This role will be part of the Engineering & Construction Fiber Build team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and monitoring engineering and construction build plans across various network types.
• Coordinating and creating work schedules for internal workforce and contracted vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Tracking milestone activities for complex projects across multiple lines of business.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Meeting network readiness dates within budget allotments via vendor performance management.
• Utilizing Cost Per Premise Modeling during design and revision phases.
• Driving actionable data analysis with partner groups (IT, Business, and Vendors).
• Providing technical oversight and support to OSP build and Operations teams.
• Supporting removal of network build roadblocks associated with permitting, contractual interpretation.
• Collaborating with network leadership and business domain leadership to design future state processes.
• Analyzing, capturing, and interpreting GIS and related IQGeo data.
• Communicating training, job aids, methods, and procedures to stakeholders.
• Creating and maintaining IT enhancement requirements for fiber design and build.
• Performing User Acceptance Technical Testing.
• Performing periodic Quality Inspections on the Fiber Build.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
