Job Details
REMOTE Opportunity with occasional onsite meetings in Dayton, NJ.
The Project Manager I serves as a client advocate and laboratory liaison.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong client and technical staff relationships.
- Guide projects from initial contact through deliverables and invoicing.
- Manage a portfolio of clients with lower complexities.
- Train and delegate tasks to Project Manager Assistants.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, aiding with project setup, quotes, supply orders, sample receipt, data reporting, and invoicing.
- Foster relationships with the client, laboratory operations, and sales team.
- Monitor project status and provide regular updates.
- Understand project rationale, regulations, and methods.
- Document and execute client requests.
- Review project data and invoicing for accuracy.
- Participate in client meetings.
Requirements:
- Associates' degree or equivalent experience in sciences and/or customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Preferred)
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (Required). 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager Assistant (Preferred)
- Advanced communication, mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.
- Strong initiative, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
