Full-Time Project Manager III (Remote)

Project Manager III at Convergint Federal plays a key role in project execution, from initiation to completion. Collaborate with skilled professionals to deliver integrated security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resources).
2. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients for alignment.
3. Oversee field operations (site assessments, installations, testing, commissioning).
4. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
5. Be the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and exceeding expectations.
6. Manage field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adequate resources and training.
7. Coordinate with internal departments for efficient resource allocation.
8. Implement quality assurance processes to meet industry standards.
9. Adhere to regulatory compliance and safety protocols.
10. Maintain accurate project documentation (plans, reports, change orders, certificates).
11. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status.

Specific Day-to-Day Duties:

• Create and submit weekly/bi-weekly meeting agendas/minutes
• Create and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Verify monthly man-hour reporting
• Forecast labor, vendor, and subcontractor costs
• Maintain project budget and WIP
• Conduct subcontractor negotiations, issue/maintain purchase orders
• Invoice customers and approve subcontractor invoices
• Submit deliverables and invoices in RMS
• Attend project kick-offs, site surveys, progress visits
• Review SVAPP, APP, and assist with AHAs
• Create and submit QASPs
• Submit and maintain project schedule, milestone/progress payment schedules
• Track drawing packages with engineering
• Review and submit deliverables
• Create and submit RFIs, ECPs, and REAs
• Create service orders and maintain service order logs
• Schedule customer training, maintain sign-offs
• Review and submit as-built drawings
• Submit O&M manuals
• Submit cybersecurity artifacts
• CPAR self-assessment
• Create and submit final invoice and RoC
• Track warranty claims
