What Does a Marketing Manager II Do? We're seeking a Marketing Manager to orchestrate the seamless execution of marketing projects in a pharmaceutical environment. This role involves leading internal and external operations and delivering low-to-medium complexity tactical projects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Manager ensures meticulous planning, implementation, and on-time/on-budget delivery, adhering to high quality and process standards. The ideal candidate blends project management expertise and marketing acumen, driving successful initiatives while fostering client and partner relationships. This role involves co-owning projects with senior-level staff, contributing to project plans, and delivering submissions for regulatory review. Proven track record and agency experience is required. Experience in a regulated environment is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in Account and/or Project Management.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and client service mindset.
- High performance in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of project management skills and standards.
- Familiarity with project burn analysis, communication, action, and mitigation.
- Ability to build timelines and project estimates.
- Basic understanding of project management software (e.g., Workfront, Smartsheet, MS Project).
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude, basic negotiation skills, high accountability.
